HOUSE AND GARDEN
Solstice Farm, located just 12 miles south of Port Townsend and 8 miles north of the Olympic Music Festival, is ideal for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. The farm evolved from a 33 acre pasture and barn into a unique working farm in 2002. We currently raise market lamb, pigs, and free range chicken eggs. In addition a large organic market garden and apple orchard have been developed.
In 2008 Linda (the builder supreme) completed the new farm house bed and breakfast with two large airy guestrooms opening onto a 20 foot tall atrium with its wall of glass overlooking Beaver Valley. We want to thank all those that stayed at the B and B these first few years. The 2014 B and B season was opened with many old friends from the first three years.
2014 began with the arrival of 35 lambs, 50 chicks to add to our 100 hen flock and 10 piglets. The market garden has finally planted by Linda and the interns after a very warm summer. The local CO-OP, other vendors and B and B guests all shared in the bounty. The year 2015 should be even better with an expanded farm production and opening of our new farm stand.
You are invited to participate in the feeding and care of our "babies" and other activities you might enjoy during your stay.
