Solstice Farm B & B

Book early for the 2012 lambing season!  We only have two rooms and they tend to fill quickly.  This year the lambs should begin arriving late March and last through April!

Linda Davis and Jim Rueff would like to thank all the guests who visited in 2010 and 2011, our first full two years as a B & B

Solstice Farm Bed and Breakfast.  The newly built farm house is situated on a
33 acre working farm in the lush Beaver Valley, 12 miles south of Port Townsend.

Our home features two large guest rooms each with its own private bath; one is wheel chair accessible.  Both feature queen size beds in master suite size rooms.  (Photos are near impossible to show with our rural dial up connection to the internet!)

The large sunlit atrium not only brightens the house; it provides an idyllic unobstructed view of the valley with our large flock of grazing sheep, market garden and free range chickens.

Breakfasts, which are included, are  sumptuous feasts featuring homegrown eggs ,sausage and fruits when in season.  Homemade cinnamon rolls, ginger or orange scones, granola with local jams and honey are a specialty of Linda.  The menu ranges from Parisian Crepes to a hearty farm breakfast depending on the guests wishes and the cook's larder.

Come join us for a relaxing rural get away.  You are invited to safely participate in the operation of the farm according to your interest.  Megan,
the wonder dog, will be your guide.  The room rate for 2012 is  only $110 per night plus local taxes during our first year of operation.  Children under 13 are free.  An additional $25 will be charged for accompanying teenagers for extra bed in alcove and breakfast. Also, because of our size, we only accept cash or checks.

Opening Windows from Guestrooms onto Atrium
This spacious atrium was specifically designed to take full advantage of the sun.  During the summer the sun only partially enters the room and thereby reduces overheating.  During the winter the sun enters through the house via the atrium to provide a sunny visit even during the darkest months.
Both guest rooms shown here open on to the atrium.
